Leica DISTO™ transfer 1.40
The program connects to Leica DISTO™ devicesusing a Bluetooth interface (current models are Leica DISTO™ D3aBT,Leica DISTO™ D330i and Leica DISTO™ D8). From your Android device,you can remotely trigger measurements and /or you can transfer themeasurement data from the Leica DISTO™ into the Clipboard. Oncethey are in the Clipboard, they can be inserted into anyapplication.Now you can also transfer your measurements directly into anExcel file. You can either generate this file on the Android deviceitself or you can download and open any Excel file previously usedon another computer beforehand. The most common formulas from Excelare supported.You are transfering the measurements in the currently active Excelcell. For navigation you can use the touchscreen of your Androiddevice or the navigation keys on your Leica DISTO™.The following Leica DISTO™ devices are supported:Leica DISTO™ plusLeica DISTO™ A6Leica DISTO™ D8Leica DISTO™ D3aBTLeica DISTO™ D330iPlease note: this program only runs properly on Android devicesversion 2.3.3 or higher with Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP).Due to the vast amount of existing Android devices, not all can betested. Successful results were achieved by using the SamsungGalaxy tablet computers (e.g. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 PlusN) or theSamsung Galaxy S3 Smartphone.For devices running on Android 4.3 or higher please use the DISTO™transfer BLE which also supports the Bluetooth 4.0 interface.

The DISTO™ sketch app supports the new LeicaDISTO™ models from Leica Geosystems. The Leica DISTO™ Plan app assists you with the vital task ofdocumenting and visualizing your measurements. Fingers can be usedto sketch a floorplan on a smartphone or tablet and correspondingmeasurements are easily assigned to each line of the plan. This wayyou can easily plan the next steps of your project. Sketch Plan —create a scale drawing Simply use your fingers to create a sketch onyour smartphone or tablet. Then take corresponding measurements andassign them to the relevant lines of your sketch. The app’s‘auto-scale’ function automatically adjusts the lines’ length andthe result is a scaled drawing, showing surface area andcircumference. It is that easy to produce a CAD ready floorplan.Smart Room — plan while you are measuring A newly integrated sensorin the Leica DISTO™ X3 and X4 makes it possible to create accuratefloor plans simply by taking clockwise or counter-clockwisemeasurements of a room. Once all measurements are taken, the appautomatically generates the plan. Keeping records of eachmeasurement and the angle between any two of those measurements atthe same time makes it possible. Measure Plan — create as-buildplans for CAD The Leica DISTO™ app supports P2P technology whichmakes it possible to create detailed floor or wall plans, includingdoors and windows. Once complete, simply export your plans as a dxfor dwg file into your preferred CAD solution. Sketch on Photo —dimension objects in pictures Leica DISTO™ Bluetooth® Smarttechnology allows you to assign distance measurements to theappropriate part of a picture taken with your tablet or smartphone.This way you can document all your measurement results and easilyprocess them later in the office. Exports in standard formats —seamlessly integration All measurements and floorplans can beexported as a CAD drawing, JPG or in a PDF format. CAD exports arepossible as DXF or DWG format, which allows to seamlessly integratethe measurement data with digitized construction. PDF exportdetailed reports include all created measurements in easy to readand understandable structure.
